Morgan was the first and he did it all with style.  He qualified for the Gains Regionals and the Gains events in 1985.  He was Nationally the Number 1 Irish Setter in Obedience the same year.  He was a Dog World Dog of Distinction for all three Obedience Titles he obtained.  Morgan had several Best of Breeds and High In Trials during his show career.  His last show he won a utility class at age 10!  Shown here at 2 years of age finishing his Championship.

Sailor's record in the show ring may not rival Morgan's, but she was Travis' best friend.  She taught my son to stand, walk, and to love his dog.  Life since she left is not the same and never will be.  Travis needs a service dog, so I trained Sailor to do it!  The only thing she did not master was going slow down hill.  She thought the game was about beat the boy down the hill (not get him there safely!)  She was a joy.  Photo at 3 years old.

Sneaker.  What a man.  We lost him way too soon to cancer.  My first home bred Champion.  A wonderful combination of his Mom and Dad (Sailor and Morgan).  He had his Dad's eyes and patience, but his Mom's spirit.  He was the best of both.  Photo of him finishing, 3 years old.

Ava came to live with us at age 4.  She had a "Rags to Riches" life.  She came to Texas to get in shape.  Coat grew like a weed even in our heat.  We finished her Championship six months after she arrived!  Ava went on to teach me agility and patience.  She had 2 wonderful litters - becoming a ROM (register of merit) in the process.

Ava, Miss Ava, thought she was the queen of it all.  And the world allowed her these feelings.  She once was allowed to ride in the passenger section on a plane taking us to Rhode Island.  Some day I'll add that story to the website.
